Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) is a Quiz competition on India’s achievements in Space science & Technology for students of Grades 5-12. Indian Space Science Olympiad is organized by Edu Mithra Intellectual services Pvt. Ltd. with a mission to attract and encourage young minds to explore the field and enhance their aptitude in space science & technology. ISSO aims to bring about healthy competition among students and offer a chance to meet renowned personalities.
Preliminary Round- Qualifying exam (Online)
This is an online exam where candidate and facilitator will be connected through webinar. Once connected, the facilitator will share question paper and candidate will read the questions and its options and orally tell the correct option to the examiner. The examiner will save the answer in the exam portal. Candidates will be asked 30 multiple choice questions based on Syllabus (Space Science and related topics). The total allowed time for ISSO exam is 10 minutes. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer.
ISSO Final exam (Offline) at A V Rama Rao Auditorium, Chemical Sciences Building, Indian Institute Of Science, Bengaluru (on 27th and 28th December) and JN Tata Auditorium, National Science Seminar Complex, Indian Institute Of Science, Bengaluru (on 29th December, 2024)
Before conducting final exam a three days offline workshop will be conducted by subject experts for eligible candidates. Final exam will be based on syllabus as well as on this workshop.
