ONLINE PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION TIME SLOT & IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT
1. EXAM PLATFORM & DEVICE
- The examination will be conducted through ZOOM.
- Students must attend only using a smartphone. Computers/laptops are NOT allowed.
- Install the ZOOM application before the examination.
- Ensure your phone is fully charged with a stable internet connection.
- Keep your camera ON throughout the examination. Headphones/earphones are recommended.
2. HOW THE EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED
- An ISSO examiner will contact each candidate at the allocated examination time and provide the ZOOM Meeting ID and password.
- The examiner will connect the candidate to the exam portal and display the questions on the screen.
- Students must silently read the questions and answer orally. Do not read the questions aloud.
- Audio and video will be recorded for security and verification.
3. IMPORTANT EXAMINATION RULES
- Time changes will NOT be permitted. Candidates must be ready at their allocated time.
- If you do not receive the examiner’s call at your scheduled time, contact your allocated examiner or ISSO Office.
- Malpractice or external assistance is strictly prohibited. Any such activity may result in immediate termination and debarment from ISSO.
- This rule also applies to post-examination video verification.
4. POST-EXAMINATION VERIFICATION
- A random follow-up phone viva may be conducted.
- If required, a candidate may be asked to undergo a re-test under strict surveillance.
5. PROVISIONAL CANDIDATURE
Your candidature is purely provisional. If, at any stage, a candidate in the rank list is found ineligible or has provided false information, their candidature will be immediately cancelled.
6. CHECK YOUR DETAILS
Please carefully check your Name, Category and Allocated Examination Time in the time-allocation list. If any detail is incorrect, contact the ISSO Customer Care Department immediately.
